Aditu Internships 2017

We are once again accepting applications to the Aditu internship programme in 2017.

This position is open to anyone that has previously excavated with us as students (either on the Roman or Mortuary programmes), and is intended for those who wish to obtain further professional experience in the field of archaeology and/or anthropology.

The internship includes room, board and accident insurance for the duration of the excavation (travel to the site is at the intern’s expense). The candidate will be assigned to a supervisor that will monitor his or her work from a professional perspective. Interns will be expected to assist in the running of the excavation and will carry out a small-scale research project directly related to the site that will be submitted at the end of the programme. The duration of the internship is for a maximum of the two month field season, so the position is available for July and/or August, 2017.

We hope that this opportunity will assist those with the goal of becoming archaeologists and/or anthropologists. At the end of the internship a professional letter of reference will be provided that will state your work with us.

To be considered as a candidate you will need to fill out the internship application and attach a letter of intent and CV. Our selection will be based on the candidate’s CV, career and prospects, so let us know how this opportunity is going to help you and how you are preparing for a professional life in archaeology. The deadline for applications is March 15, 2017.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions regarding this opportunity or to request an application form.

The deadline for applications is March 15, and all enquiries should be sent to
